Well....the manager's meeting was last night....it was mostly about alcohol & ejections, but I did learn a few things to share with y'all.....I'm sure that people who have already played this league (Seth, Carissa) know these things, but many of you may not.
1. A "Halo-zone" rule.....basically, it means, if you hit a line-drive & it goes at the pitcher, you're out & the ball is dead.
2. No swearing (I'll have to watch myself on this one!)
3. Beer & Food is for sale at the park....can't bring any of either in. Sunflower seeds are OK. I guess they've lowered the price of both. Specials every night.
4. Can't drink in the parking lot. Cops will be passing thru it, too.
5. Beer in the dug-out is OK, not on the field.
6. We can have 1 team cooler.
7. You can bring a 'sealed' Gatorade/water or sport drink in, no energy drinks. Or, you can bring sport bottle. It has to be empty on entrance to the field.
8. No kids in the dugout for insurance reasons.
